How much training does the staff receive?
Each staff member at Millbrook Homes Assisted Living receives 30 hours of training and dementia training approved by the Alzheimer’s Association. We are recognized as a "Leader in Dementia Care" by the Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Assoc. Staff also receives ongoing training throughout the year.Do the fees increase as the care needs of the resident change?
At Millbrook Homes Assisted Living the care fees are not based on level of care. The only add on fee is for incontinent services.How easy is it for the residents to make friends and feel a sense of belonging?
With only 5 to 7 residents everyone shares meals, good conversation and activities together daily. The adjustment time is typically shorter then in a large facility.How easy is it to communicate with staff on how the resident is doing?
We supply each home with the same staff members, so that they get to know the residents well. This improves the quality of care and the communication with families.How do families know they have selected a good place?
